Ashley & Alan's Wedding
November 8, 2008: My best friend of over 10 years was married and it was, in many ways, the most beautiful and enjoyable wedding ever! Being the maid of honor, I got to help out with a lot of the planning, which completely paid off. The ceremony was beautifully decorated with hot pink gerbera daisies, it was a beautiful clear blue November day in Old Town, San Diego, and the reception was extremely romantic. I'm so happy for my best friend and her awesome new husband!

June Lake & Yosemite
August 15, 2008 - August 19, 2008: Alex and I decided to take a long weekend camping trip to Yosemite for his birthday. Rather than try our luck at a campground in Yosemite since we didn't have a reservation, we decided to set up camp at Oh! Ridge Campground right by June Lake. It was such a beautiful spot and I've always loved June Lake! It was only about a 20 minute drive to the east entrance of Yosemite, so it wasn't bad at all. On our first day in Yosemite we hiked on Murphy Creek Trail for about 2 hours then went kayaking in Tenaya Lake. On our second day, we went on a 7 hour hike (total there and back) on the Glen Aulin Trail to Tuolumne Falls. We were SO tired after! On our third day we first stopped at Tioga Lake, then hiked on Yosemite Creek Trail for about 3 hours before returning to our campsite at June Lake. The next morning we went kayaking on June Lake before heading home. Our trip was so amazing and I had forgotten just how much I love Yosemite, June Lake, and the Eastern Sierras in general.
Disney World
June 26, 2008 - June 30, 2008: I visited a friend in Orlando for a few days and had a BLAST! I arrived on Thursday, the 26th, in the evening. The next day we went to Animal Kingdom. On day 3 we went to Aquatica, and on day 4 we went to Epcot in the morning, Magic Kingdom in the afternoon, and Hollywood Studios in the evening. It was very action packed but the crowds weren’t too bad and we were able to do everything we planned! The next day, on the 30th, my flight left for home sometime in the afternoon. Thankfully, I had no flight problems!
Whistler, BC
January 23, 2008 - January 27, 2008: Ashley and I traveled to Whistler for some intense fun and extreme snowboarding. I can honestly say that I have never experienced any place like it. The slopes were very challenging, and the two mountains are so expansive that you really could never get bored with them. Blackcomb Mountain, specifically Blackcomb Glacier, was my favorite part of all. We also had some fun, drunken, cider-filled evenings, as you can clearly see from those pictures we took with that random cow, haha.
